100 Posts . . . oh, boy.

Technically, this is BLOG FREE FRIDAY (THE get-out-and-enjoy-the- day-and-don't-even- think-about-a-computer DAY--at least it will be from now on). BUT, I used that new blogger feature to SCHEDULE posts for a later date. It is actually THURSDAY when I am typing this. What a great idea . . . MOVING ON.

I remember when I made my first blog post, some 100 posts ago. Since that time I've written about J, being a new mom, politics, American Idol, family, my sordid past, and my obsession with Swedish Fish. Blogging has been fun. It has been therapeutic. It has been inspiring (that came from reading YOUR blogs!).

So, now is the time I should write my 100 Things About Me. Although I have the attention span of a flea in a dog pound, I will try to do this. But, I'll have to do it bit by bit.

Can you help me?

I need some questions. Other bloggers have done this before, so I'm fairly certain you know the drill. What do you want to know about me? Or, if you aren't all that curious, what do you think other people would want to know about me?

Hopefully your inquisitive natures will provide me with enough inspiration to get me to 100 things about me.

The ABOUT ME part is a little overwhelming. Talking about myself, poking fun at myself here and there is OK. But, much more than that and my personal motto of "thriving in anonymity" goes out the window. BUT, I'm going ahead with it because in a way, I think it would be pretty cool to see 100 things in virtual print. And, since I'm asking you for help, it won't get a list of 100 foods I like to eat.

Thanks for your help!

YEA! 100 posts! This is going to be fun!

My question is: what are your favorite pair of shoes and why?

Oh yeah, and give us a picture! :)

One tactic I used was to ask my family what they thought I should include. Of course all my children walk and talk so that helped!

Truly though, your hubby will have lots of great ideas about what makes you unique.

My contribution is: What's your drink of choice?

Isn't the schedule feature nice?? Free Friday huh? It is raining and not nice today- more like a good day to blog here ;)

If you could have a super power- what would it be? Why?

I totally punted the "100 things about me" post. I've got maybe 114 or so. :-)

I find that a picture of my boobs always boosts readership.

Hmmm... Did you ever misunderstand music lyrics, and if so, which ones?
example: I seriously (up until I was 22) thought Lola was a school girl with yellow ribbons in her hair (pigtails) and a dress cut down to there (meaning it went to her knees.)

Congratulations on 100! Questions: what is a place you've never visited that you really want to go, and why? Where did the name "LaskiGal" come from? And: lipstick, lipgloss, chapstick, or nothing? :)

Congrats on your 100th post!!! Hey, that list of food that you like to eat isn't such a bad idea ...

I know your life is a lot about your little on right now, and you seem the type of gal who likely researched everything about being a mom before your precious baby got here. So now that you are a mom, anything that has totally thrown you for a loop about motherhood that you just did not expect?

And, in case I don't get blogging over the weekend, please have yourself an AWESOME first Mother's Day!!!

Only 100? Gee, you gotta start typing more! LOL!!!

How about favorite dinner to make?

I hope this takes...I've had a hard time commenting on Blogger sites today.

You taught, so I want to know which teacher had the biggest impact on you in life.

You taught Shakespeare, so which of his plays do you like the most?

Let's see...How tall are you?

What was your superlative in high school? Like best dressed, most likely to succeed, etc? If you didn't have an official one, what would you choose?

HAPPY 100 POSTS!

When you were a little girl, what did you aspire to be? Are you doing what you'd hoped?

Can't wait to see all your answers! Have fun!

Just start spewing! the 100 list was so hard for me! Maybe I'm boring? I feel like everything anyone would ever want to know about me was in that list, and then some!

I wish IO had thought to ask for ideas before mine. You have got some great ideas there. For me, I struggled with how to actually make it interesting and my honesty made my in-laws VERY angry. So much so that many don't read my blog anymore, which is actually a relief to me. I can't wait to read yours. Just have fun with it.

I love the scheduled blogger posts too except I can't seem to get ahead enough to use it.

My question: If you could change places with anyone in the world in any time period who would it be?

Lisa said...

Hmmm...I feel like I need to work hard to be creative here....

You have $1,000. You cannot put it in the stock market or into savings - you must spend it, or it's gone. BUT...you must spend it all in either the same place or on the same person. Tell us what you'd do!

PS - Holy Buckets do you have a lot of questions! Good luck getting them all answered!

Lori said...

Just start talking and listing things and it will go quickly...I was surprised. What is your favorite hobby? What is your biggest pet peeve?

Happy 100th post!

Yeah for 100 posts!!!

My question: What is your most embarrassing moment?

SWC said...

Hi there...it's been a while. I've been neglectful. Anyway, here is my question...if you had one day all to yourself what would you do. It cannot involve your spouse or kiddo. Ok, that's it.

Hope on over...I did a tribute to the moms in my life. You're one of them. So inspirational and I feel like we are going through a lot of the same things at the same time. So, thanks.

You can look at my list of 100 for ideas. I had to do it 25 per day or else my brain would have exploded. I looked around at other people's lists for ideas. Sounds like your fan club came up with some great questions!
