Wordless Wednesday: He's "Talking" Already

I swear mom, I read them all . . . I'll put them back. Later (read: MOM will put them back).

Mom. Enough with the lame hats already. I have a rather attractive head of no hair that I would like to show off to the ladies.

Yo, mom. You know you're in for it, dontcha!?! Turn your back for one second. I dare ya!

When mine were teeny I went around with a camera and took pictures of every mess they made that day (in the tupperware cabinet, the books ALL off the bookshelf, the clothes pulled out of drawers...). I was a wee bit peeved at being a walking vacuum.

But now, I miss it. Because the messes are so much more thorough. Ugh.

He's darling. And growing up far too quickly.

In a couple of months you can start a new "game" with him

Who can pick up books the fastest. LOL. We (or more I) love that game.

LiteralDan said...

Yes, what is it about books that tell kids they should always dump them all over the floor?

It's almost enough to drive me to call for doubling childhood illiteracy by 2020.

I can't believe he is going to be a year old . . . can't believe it.

And those books. Looks like your office!

Perfect! I love the look he gave you on the stairs, so cute.
And the books? Well, there are always books on the floor at my house. And almost every other surface. In a house of 6 active readers there are always books to pick up.

I was so glad when my daughter was old enough to understand my threats in regards to the books. Now she keeps them on the bookshelf. Hopefully I didn't scar her in some way, but I HATE BOOKS ON THE FLOOR.

Your baby has the most adorable smile! He's quite the charmer.
